Arrdevpools have collaboration with various sand filter manufacturer and we also make our own filter in Mild steel with fibre coating inside and outsite for longer life and strengths. There are other type of filters such as cartridge, bag micron filters are also available.

Filters

Sand Filters.

This is the round shell made of fibre glass, mild steel or stainless steel and two to five layers of sand, coarse, aggregates and pebbles in shell. The dirty water is feed to the top layer of sand and all dirt get accumulated on the top surface.
Once dirt get thick it stop water going and pressure in filter increase and to clean the filter water is feed from bottom and dirt get dissolved in water and thrown out of the filter.

Positive: Washing of filter is controlled by the operating valves.
Negative: It waste 3-5% of water of pool capacity, it need powerful motor that increase the power consumption. If we use swimming pool water in cleaning of filter than a lot of chlorine and chemicals are wasted.(3% daily 100% in one month).

	Cartridge Filters: These are the artificially made of synthetic layer which is capable to hold dirt and let water pass. These can be fixed in shell or can be kept open. Since the layer is 2-3mm thick hence more surface area is covered in lesser area by fixing them in V-shape. No other layers required to clean the filter. Positive: Micron level for filtration can be controlled by selecting 25 micron (hence cleaner water) Less water, chemical and electricity required. Negative: Cartridge to be cleaned manually.

Bag Filtration:

These are the cloth bags made for specific porosity and micron level can be controlled. These cloths are fixed with plastic collar to with hold the cloth filter. Water is passed from on side and out from all side and stop dirt in bag. Then take out and clean them in washing machine.

Positive: Easy to use and fix.
Negative : Lesser filter area and no automation is possible for cleaning the filter.
